The scanned image is out of focus |
This may be caused by extremely curled film. The scanned image will be blurred, even if the film is slightly curled. |
Also, if the film scanner is set to the auto-focus mode when scanning, the scanned image may be out of focus. |
When scanning the image in the auto-focus mode, make several trials to verify it is in focus. If the desirable result is not obtained with the auto-focus mode, try the manual focus mode. |
