Understanding Printers/Problems that occur with special dataIndexHome

I used ColorSync, but the colors from the printing shop don't match my original (Macintosh)

First, determine whether the equipment used by the printing shop is using ColorSync. If not, have the printing shop install ColorSync on their computer and make sure that the ColorSync settings have been properly set.

Before printing, you also need to make sure that ColorSync has been selected in the application and in the printer driver.

Incidentally, always use the RGB mode whenever you use ColorSync for color matching of image data. You cannot match CMYK colors correctly using the Lab mode. If you still don't get the right colors in your printout, check whether the monitor needs to be recalibrated.

Scan the profile from your monitor, choose ColorSync System Profile from the control panel, and click the "Set Profile" button.
