Colors on the printout do not match the colors on the monitor

You can use color matching software to make the colors on your printer and monitor match. Or you can adjust the monitor colors using the Monitor Settings feature of Adobe Photoshop. Choose Color Settings from the File menu and click on Monitor Setup.

Use the dialog box to calibrate your monitor. You can select the Gamma value, white point (color temperature), and RGB color coordinates. You should also select the proper characteristics of the lighting for the room where you use your monitor.
