Printout is blotchy |
Uneven shade in the printout |
A printout may be blotchy for one of two reasons: (1) The print head of the ink jet printer is dirty and does not eject ink properly. If so, clean it with the head cleaning utility of your EPSON ink jet printer, accessible from the Utilities menu in the printer driver or from the printer's control panel. (2) The surface of the paper is irregular and absorbs ink unevenly. Use flat paper, without folds or curvature, such as coated paper. |
