The
Image Archive contains many superb images of the stars, galaxies,
nebulae and planets captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, as well
as other powerful ground-based telescopes.
The
main catalogue can be searched by topic, keyword or object name
in order to produce a list of relevant images and their accompanying
captions. However, the planets can only be searched for within the
Planets section, whilst the stars, galaxies and Sun can be searched
for within the main Keyword search.

A
'measure' button is sometimes displayed beneath the title of the
image. Clicking this will open an extra window which will allow
you to measure features within the image.
