Mars: Spiral storm near northern polar cap 7.2
Left: Hubble Space Telescope image of part of the northern hemisphere of Mars in April 1999, during the northern summer. The residual north polar cap is visible at the top, and below and left of it is a spiral storm feature, picked out by clouds of condensed water vapour. Less obvious, lower altitude clouds mask the surface to the south of this storm too.
