Starting Softface 3D

To start Softface 3D

On the Start menu, click Programs, then Eptron Softface 3D, then Softface 3D.

When Softface 3D initially starts, it checks the display settings and the presence of DirectX in the system. The following error messages may appear while starting Softface 3D:

"SoftFace 3D only works with a display resolution of 16 bpp or higher. Please change the display settings of the system". To avoid this message you must change the Color Palette in your Display Settings to more than 256 colors. For more information see Hardware Requirements.

"Error: Couldn't find any Direct 3D device". To avoid this error message DirectX must be installed in your system. For more information see System Requirements.

When Softface 3D starts a new empty project is created.
