OS/2 e-Zine! Award NetGuide Gold Award PC Webopaedia Outstanding Page Award

On this page, we sit back and bask in the light of the words of wisdom bestowed upon us by happy readers, and above, by award-giving sites. The reader comments below are all from after August 1996, since I don't have any from before that. The newest comments are at the top.

I learn more with each visit. Thanks for taking time to do this kind of thing.

What can I say... This is the best thing to happen to OS/2 since its inception. I can't tell you how much I have learned about the OS since I started reading EDM/2. Many Thanks!

Excellent job on the E-zine. I like the format and the content. Keep it up.

Just discovered this great OS/2 site! Especially appreciate the typographically fine layout with its ease of use. Your links are fast, attractive and not bogged down with graphics and gimmicks! Article content worth its weight in CPUs!

I love the new look.

...thanks for your Web-Mag, you do an excellent job.

Congrats on your ezine, I'm sure it takes a lot of work, but it is a very valuable source of information and definitely appreciated by me. At my next meeting I intend to cover the various OS/2 ezine, and yours will get a good review from me.

The new site looks good!

Congratulations for the new look.

Keep up the good work on EDM/2!

I've found that EDM/2 is a great benefit for those of us that need programming information (especially for us newbies :)).

I really like this e-zine and have plans to link to you from my intranet site.

My compliments to you on a really fine emag -- lots of very valuable information.

You are doing a great job. I have been reading EDM/2 ever since the start.

A happy new year to you to, and I hope EDM/2 remains the great ezine that it has always been! Keep up the good work!

Thanx for starting and maintaining this project! I really get valuable technical information about OS/2 which helps me, as an engineer, understand OS/2's capabilities much better.

I have been reading your Web Magazine for about three months now and I am very impressed.

You're doing a great job as editor of EDM/2. I realize that it is not easy to keep things going and to keep the magazine alive.

Hello from Russia, In our country less information about programming for OS/2. EDM/2 for me most way for taking information. Thank you VERY much. P.S. Excuse me, for ugly Eglish.

Thanks for your effort supporting starving OS/2 programmers!! Merry Christmas!!

I have read many articles in EDM/2 for a long time, and consider that you all have done a good job for OS/2 programmers!!

Your article is by far the best explanation I have ever seen so far, so please keep the good work!

Nice magazine. I added a link to it on my homepage.

I want to say that this is a marvellous site! Keep up the good work!

I appreciate your work very much, and I am glad to see that the API-Project is constantly growing !

You folks have a *superb* publication.

Carsten, thanks for doing what you're doing. EDM/2 is definitely a good thing.

I have read your "A Hello World Device Driver" with great interest. This source and description might one day prove invaluable to me since I am working with Electrical Engineering - someday there might be a need to write an OS/2 device driver. And your examples will be a jump start. Thank you.

I saw your EDM/2 today the first time and was impressed.

I have just learned about EDM/2 and I am surprised of the quality of your articles. Dr. Dobbs Journal and other don't really care about OS/2 any more.

I've just read the October issue of EDM/2 from cover to cover. I've never programmed for PC's, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for the (major) effort on your part for making it available!

Just thought I would drop you a line to thank you for the job you are doing with EDM/2. The web pages are looking really well done.

I'm glad to see EDM/2 is coming out more regularly. Your efforts are appreciated although I don't usually take the time to write.

I've visited the EDM/2 site and found it to be very informative. It's also looks very good! I will put a link to the EDM/2 site in my OS/2 Switchboard homepage.

Just want to let you know that I really like the new EDM/2 design. Nice to look at, easy to read - just slick. The idea to put each article on a single page is very good, too. This way one can more easily move back to previous sections of an article and generally have a better overview. I also enjoy reading your book reviews ! Keep up the good work.

I appreciate your efforts; keep up the good work.

Congrats on editor position of EDM/2, after visiting the site I left very impressed with the appearance and information.

I like the new look and layout, and I'm going to grab that c series you're doing. I may pass it along to my 11 year old nephew as well. He has my old 286 and wants to learn some c and write games! :-)

just dropping a line to say I like what I see here at edm2 so far. I've only run across the front page and your editorial but it looks good. I also like some of your "policy" changes. one big gripe I had was orphaned series and series that never completed. I'm glad you've addressed this problem.

I wanted to say that I finally got a chance to look through the EDM/2 archive. I've been using and programming OS/2 for over 2 years but I never before realized the amount of outstanding work you guys have put into that magazine. My compliments.

I like the new look! I haven't been around long, but have already d/l ALL the back issues. I'm pretty new to OS/2 and 'C' programming in general. This seems like a nice place to "get up to speed".
