This course was developed in 1997 as an introduction to programming concepts. Using web pages as a "sandbox", the student is taught how to write JavaScript programs that can be immediately incorporated to their own web page.   Because the JavaScript language is  modeled on the Java and C/C++ program languages, after completing this course, the student  is prepared to  learn advanced programming concepts
