Studyabroad.com listings are now a part of the Varsitybooks.com Job Center. This new content sharing arrangement is designed to increase Studyabroad.com reach while providing users of the leading online college bookstore an additional rich resource. VaristyBooks.com was recently named by Student Monitor as the most popular web site in the college market.
You can view the Studyabroad.com content on VarsityBooks.com by going to (http://www.varsitybooks.com) and choosing the 'get a job' link, followed by the 'study abroad' link.
This is the first of several high-profile content sharing arrangements currently in the works for Studyabroad.com. Details of other agreements will follow soon. Content sharing will drive signifcantly more traffic to Studyabroad.com.
The group has decided to grow this program from 6 to 8 participants this year, in order to increase the overall budget. Each participant will pay $3000 for the 2000 calender year. The cooperative fund will purchase more than 1,000,000 banner impressions, which will link to the Studyabroadworldwide website. From this website, there are links to each of the participant websites and soon a page of descriptive text will be added for each program.

This year's sweepstakes brought a record number (3380) of entries. Of these, 2841 entrants said it was OK to share their contact information with organizations who may want to send them promotional materials related to studying abroad. As we have done in the past, we are offering this contact information to our current advertisers at no cost. Data can also be purchased by other organizations for a fee.

Our advisors section was created to support our continued effort to be of service not only to prospective study abroad students, but also to the professionals who advise them. Once students click on the submit button to send their inquiries, they have the chance to provide a friend's name, email address and a brief note to their friend, which will be delivered automatically by email.
We believe that a recommendation from a friend goes a long way and that this program will surely bring more quality traffic to Studyabroad.com.
Our new facility is housed in the University Technology Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, a joint project of University City Science Center, Widener University, and the Crozer-Keystone Health System. The first building in the research park opened in April, 1999 and is notable for its wideband Internet access and connectivity to the Widener University network. Phase 2 is being designed at this time and completion will probably occur in late 2000 or early 2001.
