GSview install procedure

Ghostscript is a PostScript interpreter. GSview is a graphical interface for Ghostscript which allows PostScript files to be viewed or printed. It must be used with Aladdin Ghostscript.

GSview 2.2 and Ghostscript 5.01 installation procedure for Win32.

1. Make a directory on your C: drive called GS.
Click on each of the four filenames below.  Download them into the C:\GS directory on your PC.
a. gs501fn1.zip
b. gs501ini.zip
c. gs501w32.zip
d. gsv22w32.zip

Extract all four zip ziles in C:\GS. You should have all the files in C:\GS except the fonts .  Put the fonts in C:\GS\FONTS.  Note: when extracting gs501fn1.zip to c:\GS , this fonts directory will be created for you.

2. Run setup.exe. That will install and configure Gsview and Ghostscript. The GSview previewer contains an installation program to install and configure GSview and Ghostscript for Win32.
