You can plot a wide variety of surfaces with Plot 3D. This section provides examples of Rectangular, Cylindrical, Spherical, and Tube plots. The details of Gradient and Vector Field plots are provided under Vector CalculusDM9.tex.
The Maple Settings default in Scientific Notebook displays a reduced Maple menu that shows only Rectangular on the Plot 3D submenu. To use the other 3D plotting techniques, go to Maple Settings, General page, and check Display Full Maple Menu.
