From the View page of the Plot Properties dialog you can set the view intervals and generate a snapshot of the plot.
To change the view, set the View Intervals for x and y. The default view intervals, described above, are determined automatically to maximize the information contained in the plot, given the domain intervals that are set on the Plot Components page. The x- and y-axes can have radically different scales, and the curve is normally not truncated at the top or bottom unless there are vertical asymptotes. After clicking to remove the check mark from Default, you can change the View Intervals by typing numbers into the boxes for the x- and y-intervals.
To make concrete the difference between the Domain
Intervals in the Plot Components page and the View
Intervals in the View page, consider the following plot of the
function
f (x) = . Domain Intervals are set
to
-5≤x≤5 and View Intervals are set to
-10≤x≤10
and
-2≤y≤2. The Domain Intervals refer to the interval or
intervals of sampling points for evaluation and the View Intervals
refer to the coordinates that are visible. dtbpF3in2.0003in0ptFigure
