Axes Page
From the Axes page of the Plot Properties dialog you can
choose the type of axes displayed, the scaling for the axes, change the
appearance of the axes and add axis labels.
- Click Equal Scaling Along Each Axis to force the y-axis to
use the same scale as the x-axis.
- Choose Axis Scaling
from among Standard, Log, or
Log-Log.
- Specify the appearance of the axes by choosing an Axes Type
from among Normal, Boxed, Framed, or None. The choices Normal and None are self-explanatory. The
Boxed appearance shows the plot inside a rectangular frame, and
Framed displays the left and lower edges of the box. All of these
choices (except None) display numerical labels on the axes or box
edges.
- Customize the x-axis and y-axis by setting a specified number of
tick marks for each.
- Add labels to the x-axis and y-axis.
