The first attempt at a plot uses the default parameters that are set on the
Plot Options, Plot Intervals, and Plot Frame
pages of the Maple Settings dialog.
To set defaults for Plot Options settings
- From the Maple menu, choose Settings.
- Click the Plot Options tab.
- Change 2D Plot Attributes for Axes Type, Thickness, Line Color, or Plot Style by checking the
appropriate box or making an appropriate selection from a list.
- Change 3D Plot Attributes for Axes Type, Plot Style,
or Shading by making appropriate selections from lists.
- Check Display Plot Properties Dialog Before Plotting if you
wish to set plotting options each time you make a plot, rather than using
default settings.
- Choose OK.
To set defaults for Plot Intervals
- From the Maple menu, choose Settings.
- Click the Plot Intervals tab.
- Check 2D or 3D, and then choose a Plot Type.
- For that plot type, set default Coordinates and Sample Size.
- Choose OK.
To set defaults for Plot Frame settings
- From the Maple menu, choose Settings.
- Click the Plot Frame tab.
- Change Model Screen Attributes by checking the appropriate
box.
- Change Miscellaneous, Placement, and Baseline
Default Settings for New Plots by checking appropriate boxes.
- Change Size Default Settings for New Plots by setting
appropriate dimensions.
- Choose OK.
