When you contact Technical Support, please be prepared to provide complete information about the problem you're trying to solve. Our technical staff must be able to reproduce the problem exactly from your instructions. If you contact us by telephone, please be sitting at your computer with Scientific Notebook running.

Any time you contact Technical Support, please provide

• Your serial number (From the Help menu, choose About Scientific Notebook to find your serial number.)

• The version number of the Windows system you're using

• The version number of Scientific Notebook you're using (From the Help menu, choose About Scientific Notebook to find the version number.)

• The type of hardware, including network hardware, you're using

• A description of what happened and what you were doing when the problem occurred

• The exact wording of any messages that appeared on your computer screen
