Structuring a Document

You can create a structure for your document by tagging paragraphs:

• Apply section tags to create section headingsHeadings.tex.

• Apply item tags to create listsLists.tex and theorems and theorem-like statements.Theorems.tex

  
  

The available tags depend on the styleStyle.tex you choose for your document. Most styles have four or five heading levels and several different kinds of lists. Not all styles have theorem tags. The appearance of tagged text depends upon the settings in the Tag Appearance dialog boxTag_appearance.tex.

The Section Headings box in the Navigate toolbarNavigate_toolbar.tex serves as an online table of contents for your document.
