$\blacktriangleright$    To turn off print spooling for an HP LaserJet 5P

  1. Note: These instructions are specific to the HP LaserJet 5P running under Windows 95. Different HP printers may have slightly different dialog boxes, labels and options.

  2. Click the Windows Start button and choose Settings.

  3. When the Settings menu appears, choose Printers.

    The Printers window displays all printers installed on your system:
    dtbpF2.7691in2.3116in0ptprinterwindow.wmf

  4. Click the right mouse button on the icon for the printer that is printing incorrectly or use the arrow keys to select the printer.

  5. From the File menu, choose Properties.

  6. Click the Details tab to display the Details page of the HP LaserJet 5P Properties dialog box:
    dtbpF4.1442in4.6198in0ptprintdetailsdlg.wmf

  7. Click the Spool Settings button.

  8. From the Spool Settings dialog box, click the Print directly to the printer button.

  9. Choose OK to confirm your choice and return to the Details tab sheet.

  10. Choose OK to close the HP LaserJet 5P Properties dialog box.

  11. Print your document.
