To jump to a hypertext target

• Place the insertion point in the link and from the Tools menu, choose Action.

  or

• Click the mouse in the link (in a document saved as read only).

  or

• Hold down the Ctrl key and click the mouse in the link (in a document not saved as read only).

If the target document is a Scientific Notebook document (with a .tex extension), the program opens the document in a new document window. If the document is an HTML document (with an .htm or .html extension), the program activates your web browser to access the location.

Linking to the Internet can sometimes take a long time. You can cancel an Internet link in progress with the Stop button.
