Setting up a question

You set specifications for questions in a Setup section. Much of the information that can appear in the Setup section for a question can also appear in the Setup section at the front of the exam. Because the information is local, any setup information in the Question section overrides setup information in the front section of the exam. In the Setup section for the question you can specify

• Local variables and random selection of numbers for the question.

• The type, appearance, and order of multiple-choice answers for the question.
