Our instructions use these conventions:

| Check | Turn on a check box |
| Point | Move the mouse pointer to a specific position |
| Click | Position the mouse pointer, then press and immediately |
| release the left mouse button without moving the mouse | |
| Double-click | Position the mouse pointer, then click the left mouse button |
| twice in rapid succession without moving the mouse | |
| Drag | Position the mouse pointer, press the left mouse button |
| and hold it down while you move the mouse, then release the button. |
