Sound

To embed sound in a document,

1. Choose Insert Field External Program Call

2. For Type, choose Sound.

3. Type text for the anchor, or choose one of the available icons by clicking Attach Icon. Alternatively, you can supply your own scalable picture by inserting the picture in the text window.

4. For Directory, choose Sound.

5. Use the Browse button to select your sound file.

We have predefined the Sound directory to be #9#>Scinotebook#10#>Sound. You can modify this path to point to any other directory of your choice that contains the sound files. Here is a sample sound file with the ear icon instead of text. You choose this icon in the external program call dialog box. Try clicking the icon.
