If U only play PAL games and dont neet the best quality for playing UR games, U can connect UR PSX through the Video Out connector directly to UR TV or (if UR TV havn´t an Video In Chinchconnector) to UR Videoplayer. I think it´ll have some. Then U must select Camera In on UR Videopannel. Some PAL-TVs take the 60 Hz NTSC never- theless - try it ! It´ll nothing crash .. if it not work. U cant connect an VGA Monitor because it needs H-Sync and V-Sync signals - they are mixed in the PSXs RGB- or C-Sync signal, to split them U need a specail IC and other equipment. If U dont want to make a big hole in UR PSX to connect UR TV or 4 some switches U can do it like me with a flatekable whats used in Computers to the Floppys : ,--------------------------------------------------------------------------. | _______________________________________ 220V~ | ||¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¶| ____ _ _ _ _ ______ | _____ | :| ¶þ |¶¶¶¶| (o) (o) º (o) |¶¶¶¶¶¶| :====((·X·))=====: ||_______________¶| ¯¯¯¯ ¯ ¯ ¯ _______ ¯¯¯¯¯¯ | ¯¯¯¯¯ | | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¶¶¶¶¶¶¶¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ NETPLUG | `-----------------------------------------¶¶¶¶¶¶¶--------------------------´ ¶¶¶¶¶¶¶ <--- flatekable (ø6 or more) to an external box ,------------------------. ¶ | | ¶ SIDE VIEW | | | ¶ | | LOWER SIDE | | ¶ | | OF MAINBOARD | | ¶<-- Mainboard | ,--.______ | | ¶ | | |/////\\\\\ | | ¶ | | //////\\\\\\ | | |¶ | Sony-RGB-Port -> | ºººººº |||||| | | |¶¯¯¯\ | (Pins) -> | ºººººº |||||| | | |¶+\ \ | `--------||||||----------´ | |¶_____\_ | |||||| Housing -->| `-. | | |<-- Housing `----| ¯¯ ----´ \ | ^-- Connectors `---- Flatekable -->| Between housing and Mainboard is enough freespace 4 a flatekabel so U can get all layers U need without sucking UR housing .. 4 someone who´d like it.
