OdinFiles Users Help (Beta) (level 1-7) First: The OdinFiles is not a bot, its a large ini file for active users, but it can function as a channel bot. This helpfile tells users what they can do to with the bot section of the OdinFiles. Q:What can I as a normal user do? A:Actually not much :) But there is a couple of things you can't do: 1: You can't change the topic, even if the +t channelmode is not set. 2: You can't get op. You have to be registered as a level four user. To do this, you have to talk a level seven, or above, user in to adding you to OdinFiles's userlist. 3: You can't hack serverop. 4: You can't flood the channel. Q: I'm a level three user... A: The same rules as a normal user applies to you. In addition you can access the fileserver and you can take a look at the fileoffering list. If you get banned of the bots homechannel, you can unban youself by: [ /ctcp "botnick" UNBAN put!the@ban.address.here ] To get the correct ban address, get the ban listing for the channel with the command [ /mode #BotsChan -b ] If the botowner has filled in some info about the bot, you can get it by: [ /ctcp "botnick" INFO ] Q: Ok, now I'm a level four user, what can I do? A: Your a level three user who can get op on the bots channel. This is not auto op. You have to get op the normal way, but, unlike a level three user you wont get deoped by the bot if you get oped.
