Did You Know...
If you don't use the Recycle Bin very often, there's a
setting so that files are deleted rather than sent to the Recycle Bin when the keyboard
accelerator Delete is pressed. This setting is available from the Probe
main window pulldown menu Settings, menuitem Browsers, in the group Recycling Settings.
The keyboard accelerator Shift-Delete deletes files (no
recycling). Ctrl-Shift-Delete also deletes files, the difference being
that the latter one always treats subfolders as fully selected. Ctrl-Shift-Delete
is useful when working with multi-folder selections, but wanting to delete entire
directories.
