A compressed archive located within another compressed archive is referred to as a nested compressed archive. An example is a TAR archive located within a ZIP archive.

The contents of nested archive compressed archives is accessed just like ordinary subfolders. File opening, Drag&Drop and other file operations all work as usual within nested compressed archives. Probe takes care of extracting required files in the background.

Probe can handle nested compressed archives to any depth.
