Did You Know...
To search for files within some of the local disks
(C:\, D:\,
E:\), one can use the following pattern:
1 - Navigate one Folder Browser to the folder My Computer.
2 - Select the drives C:\, D:\, E:\.
3 - Invoke the Find Files item in the Edit pulldown menu, or press Ctrl-F.
4 - Edit the search criterion in the tabs of the Search
dialog. Press >>Search!<< when wanting to start
the search.
5 - In the Recursive Search section of the dialog, make sure the in hilighted subfolders item is set.
6 - In the Recursive into VDrives section, make sure the enter one VDrive level item is checked. This forces the search process to go into the disk drives, but not for example Zip archives located within them.
7 - Press Start now in the >>Search!<< tab.
