Tarantula is a unique web-authoring tool which offers pixel level layout control without the use of images for layout. It generates very compact and readable HTML code, which is optimized for most browsers such as those by Netscape and Microsoft. This document attempts to explain the features of Tarantula in greater detail. Note that these documents are not formatted to be very fancy : they are informational pages which aim to discuss some of Tarantula's features in detail. However, you will find that these pages will load very fast in your browser (even if you are viewing them from our web-site). This is because the pages Tarantula generates are divided into cells, and all browsers are capable of displaying complete cells as they arrive over the net. This is what makes the loading appear faster. Please click on an area of interest for more detail about that topic (please note that the links will only work when this document is being viewed in a browser - Press 'F9' to do that from Tarantula). |
