Intructions for Manual Installation of "Xing JPEG for Windows" 

Note: Although any disk directory name can be used, C:\XING will be used to
      refer to the destination hard disk directory in these instructions.
      Likewise A: will refer to the floppy drive.  You may use any floppy
      drive or hard disk directory appropriate to your system.
Step 1: Copy program files and sample image to hard disk.
	    COPY A:XING.EXE C:\XING
	    COPY A:JPEG_DLL.DLL C:\XING
Step 2: Start Windows in the "Standard" or "386 Enhanced Mode"
Step 3: Activate (select) the Group Box in which you intend to install the
	Xing JPEG program icon.  Click on the box title bar to activate it.
Step 4: Select "File, New" from the Program Manager menu bar.
Step 5: Select "Program Item, OK" from the "New Program Object" dialog box.
Step 6: For program item properties, enter:
		      Description:    Xing JPEG
		      Command Line:   C:\XING\XING.EXE
	Substitute (in place of C:\XING above) the actual drive letter
	and directory into which you copied the Xing JPEG program files.
Step 7: Select OK to complete the installation process.
