Welcome to Software of the Month Club! TROUBLE-SHOOTING If you encounter problems while launching programs, quitting the START program may solve your problem. Run the program from DOS without the START program will usually remedy most problems. This is especially true when trying to launch game programs. Some programs will try to write back to the CD-ROM. Because the CD-ROM is READ ONLY, you may have to copy the program to your local hard disk prior to use. Windows 95 To keep backward compatibility with Windows 3.1X subscribers our "START" program will not allow the launching of Windows applications. You will need to go to "My Computer" or "Explorer" and select your "CD-ROM" drive. Then run the programs from the folders. For a total list of the programs on the CD-ROM go to the "GUIDES" folder and double click on the proper months icon. You can also view a program guide for your specific area of interest. To view them just open the folder of your preferred SIG, then double click on the "Document icon. . CD-ROM DIRECTORY STRUCTURE The programs on this CD-ROM were grouped into directories by SIG (Special Interest Group). Under each SIG directory you will find a sub-directory for each program.
