program provided no fee is charged for this distribution. 
The user can use MATHMATE at his own risk. If you do not register
within the evaluation period you must erase the program files

MATHMATE for OS/2

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The program Mathmate is a reliable assistant for fast numerical
calculations, which is intended first of all for scientists and
engineers, but can be used also as a simple calculator.

Mathmate calculates, integrates and sums up mathematical
expressions and solves equations containing numbers, variables, 
arithmetical operations, elementary and special functions, 
mathematical and physical constants. 

The program has a number of advanced interface features including
on-screen keypads, a history list, keeping a record of
computations in a protocol, error tracking, extensive help
and automatic export of results to the Clipboard for use by
other applications.

The main distinguishing feature of Mathmate is a wide set of
built-in special mathematical functions (24) which are
calculated with the 8 bytes floating point maximum accuracy
by effective fast algorithms. 

Mathmate is designed to work under OS/2 version 3.0. It was not
extensively tested under previous versions of OS/2.

INSTALLATION

To install Mathmate run the file mminstal.cmd provided in this
distribution.

Neither SEnSE nor any of the above persons undertakes liability
for any damage of data on your computer caused by Mathmate usage.

SHAREWARE NOTICE

Mathmate is a shareware product. If you are using Mathmate after a
30 days trial period you must register. Your registration fee
of $25/DM 40 is highly appreciated as means for further development 
of this and other scientific programs in Ukraine. Universities and
other educational institutions can obtain a site licence.

This version of Mathmate is fully functional. Registered users can 
have in addition full documentation in LaTeX or Postscript and a header
file to use SPECFUNC.DLL in user applications for computation of 24
special functions. Besides that, a REXX script can be provided to use
MathMate calculation engine from a text-based OS/2 session.
A Windows version of Mathmate is also available.
