PC Zone Tips Database Help File ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Contents: 1. Introduction to the program 2. Requirements 3. Support 4. Useful links ------------------------------ #1 Introduction to the program ------------------------------ This program was written in Microsoft Visual Basic 5 by Robert Green. Many of the design elements were conjured up by Gareth Ramsey and the idea came from Daniel Emery. The images use a special switching routine which you wouldnt normally use in VB, but it certainly makes the images swap over faster than they used to. --------------- #2 Requirements --------------- The PC Zone Tips Database can be run on any personal computer that has the ability to run either Microsoft Windows 95 or 98. This program requires the standard visual basic runtime files, there is no need to install them if you do not have them as they are included in the directory of this program. It is recommended that you run this program on a Pentium 75Mhz with 16MB running Microsoft Windows 98, for the basic reason that it has the ability to load files faster (or so we are told). ---------- #3 Support ---------- If for some reason you are having trouble using the program, there are tool tips which appear on nearly every button when you move the mouse over them, these can help you. If the program has an internal error and will not load, please keep a note of what the error message says and either email support.pcz@heatwave.co.uk with the error message or get in touch with someone at PC Zone and they will forward the message. --------------- #4 Useful links --------------- PC Zone - http://www.pczone.co.uk/ Heatwave Creations - http://www.heatwave.co.uk/ Microsoft - http://www.microsoft.com/ Visual Basic - http://www.microsoft.com/visualtools/
