MODEL: TS-180S
SUBJECT: INCREASE OF RECEIVE AUDIO OUTPUT

RX audio output from the TS-180S may be increased a total of 4.7 dB.  This
is an optional change which you can make at the owners request.

On the IF unit X48-1240-00 change components:

     R206  2.2K change to 1 K ohn
     R207  2.2K change to 4.7 K ohm

On the AF Gain Control, between pin 1 and 3;

     C4 .047uF change to .027uF mylar
