Dieser Patch entfernt den Twist-Eigenen Desktop. Dadurch wird die Benutzung
dieser Datenbank einigermassen den Multitasking-Systemen der heutigen Zeit
gerecht.


Einschr„nkungen:
----------------
-Da Twist keine AV_START Nachricht versteht, kann man leider keine weitere
 Datei per Doppelklick an Twist �bergeben, falls dieses schon gestartet
 ist.
-Ausserdem k”nnen keine Icons auf dem Twist-Desktop abgelegt werden, da
 dieser nicht mehr existiert ;-)


Installation/Durchf�hrung:
--------------------------
Machen Sie eine Sicherheitskopie vom Original TWIST.PRG!
1) Kopieren Sie TWPATCH.TOS in das Verzeichnis von TWIST.
2) Starten Sie TWPATCH.TOS.
   Falls keine Fehlermeldung auftaucht, wurde das Programm erfolgreich
   gepatcht.

Danach, kann das Programm TWPATCH.TOS gel”scht werden, da es nicht mehr
ben”tigt wird.

Unterst�tzte Versionen:
-----------------------
Bis heute (12.10.2000) wird lediglich folgende Version erkannt und gepatcht:
Twist 3.01 (vom 10.05.1995):
    TWIST.PRG mit der L„nge 527'974 Bytes

Description:
------------
This Patch removes the desktop of the database Twist. This makes the program
more useable with todays multitasking systems (like MagiC or N.AES).


Disadvantages:
--------------
-Because Twist doesn't respond to the AV_START message, you can't open
 a second Twist file by double clicking in your favorite desktop shell.
-You also can't access the Twist desktop with it's icons (trash, clipboard,
 ...). But as I think every action can also be accessed by the menu or
 a shortcut.


Installation/Patching:
----------------------
Make a backup of the original TWIST.PRG!
1) Copy TWPATCH.TOS into the TWIST directory.
2) Start TWPATCH.TOS.
   If no error message was displayed the program patch was successful.

After this procedure TWPATCH.TOS is no more needed. You can delete it if
you like.


Supported Versions:

Till today (12th october 2000) there is only following version supported:
Twist 3.01 (date of 10th mai 1995):
    TWIST.PRG  file size: 527'974 Bytes
