In these last days of the great Gupta Empire--which we at The India Pictograph call the Golden Age of India--we bring you news or history from the great civilizations and cultures that have developed in this land. Our people have developed knowledge of literature, mathematics, medicine, and philosophy and religion.

The Buddhist religion from India has spread into other places, such as China, and from such contact we can bring you news of other lands.

But our first feature comes from a very early Indian civilization, in the valley of the great Indus River.
