Finding radio stations on the Internet
Radio Tuner contains a live Web page that is hosted by WindowsMedia.com. Use the links in Radio Tuner to access radio stations around the world. Search for a specific station using the Station Locator based on the following options:
- Format. Oldies, Religious, Rock, etc.
- Band. AM, FM, or Internet.
- Language. 23 languages are available.
- Location. 33 countries are available, including all states in the United States.
- Callsign. If you know the call letters for a station, type the letters to search for it.
- Frequency. If you know the frequency for a station, type the frequency to search for it.
- Keyword. If a station you want to find uses a tag line such as, ôThe Station that uses 10,000 Disk Jockeys,ö you can search using words in this tag line.
Note You must be connected to the Internet to use Radio Tuner.
To create a list of your own preset radio stations
- Click the Radio Tuner feature.
- In the Presets area, click the down arrow button, and then click My Presets.
- Click the Search button in the right pane to find the radio stations that you want to add to your preset list.
- In the Advanced Station Search dialog box, enter any information that you want to use to find the radio stations, and then click Find.
- Click the radio station, and then click Add.
- Repeat steps 3 through 5 for as many radio stations as you want to add to your preset list.
Note Because Radio Tuner contains a live Web page, the process for adding radio stations may change without notice.
