This utility allows you to create pages of text to assist in the development of children's handwriting skills. By joining the dots, children can copy the characters. A dark arrow shows where to begin the character. Where applicable, a lighter arrow shows where to start the second part of the character.

Enter your text in the box at the top and then press the button to see your text displayed in the dotty font.
If you are online, it may take some time for the characters to be displayed initially.
If you are using the downloaded version the characters will be displayed immediately.

You can clear the text window with the button.

If your browser permits it, you can print from the frame. An alternative method is to print from a window. The button displays your text in a new window. Do close the window after printing or viewing.

Alignment
The text can be aligned left, centre or right.

Font size
You can choose between 100 and 200pt.

Letter spacing
You can set the spacing between characters. The range is 10 to 80 pixels.

Page width
The default value of 620 is suitable for printing to A4 paper (portrait). If you wish to turn the paper to landscape, a page width of 950 is recommended.
(The minimum value is 200. There is no maximum value.)

Note
The option settings will not take effect until either or has been pressed.
