View Menu

Command

Purpose

Button

Full Screen

Choose this item to display the current page full screen. To return to normal mode, click on the Full Screen button that appears in the small floating window.

Toolbars...

Displays the Toolbars dialog box which lets you control which toolbars appear in the Jamba window.

Object Palette - Displays the tools that let you draw objects.

Page Layout - Displays the tools that let you control how objects appear on the page. Example: Control the alignment or layering of objects.

Standard - Displays the tools that let you perform standard application features such as file open and save, and, cut, copy and paste. Also contains some Jamba specific operations such as creating a new page, running the application, or viewing the project window.

Show Tool Tips - Causes tool tips to appear when you place the cursor over toolbar buttons.

 
Status Bar Check this item to display the Status Bar.
 
Arrange By Displays a cascading menu of commands that determines the way in which object information is arranged in the left side of the Page Layout window. Hint: This feature is valuable in the Project View if you set the Items Using command to Details.
 
Name
Sorts items alphabetically by name.
 
Type
Sorts items by type. (Not available in the Project window)
 
Order
Sorts items by their order.
 
Shown
Sorts items by whether they are shown on the page. (Not available in the Project window)
 
Items Using Displays a cascading menu of commands that determines the way in which object information is viewed on the left side of the Page Layout Editor.
 
Small Icons
Views item using small icons.

List
Views items in a list.

Details
Views the details of the items. Drag the vertical border of the Name area to the right to show more information. Example:

Name - The name of the objects on the page.

Order - The layering order of the objects.

Type - The type of object.

Shown - Whether or not the object is currently set to appear in the editor. Hint: You can turn off an object so that you can work with another object that is layered beneath it.

Zoom

Displays a cascading menu of commands that zoom or un-zoom the objects in the right side of the Page Layout window.

Scales view to 25%.
 
50%
Scales view to 50%.
 
100%
Scales view to 100%.
 
200%
Scales view to 200%.
 
400%
Scales view to 400%.
 
Background When this option is selected, the objects on the associated background appear on the standard page. Note: To edit these objects, you must display the background page itself in the Page Layout Editor.

Project

Shows the Project window.
