Printing Files

Jamba lets you set up a printer, set up the layout of a printed page, and print a page that is currently open in the Page Layout Editor.

Printer Setup

If you already have one or more printers installed on your system, you can use Jamba to select and configure the printer you want to use. For detailed information on how to configure a printer, see the User's Guide for your windowing system.

Note: Because other programs also let you perform printer setup, it is possible that the appropriate printer is already selected and configured.

Printing

Printing an application enables you to view its entire structure all at once. It also lets you share your design ideas with other authors. You can produce a hard copy of the structure and content of a project.

To print a page:

1. Open the desired file and page.

2. Choose Print... from the File menu.

The Print dialog box appears similar to the following.

The dialog box contains the current settings for your system. Optionally, you can change these defaults. For specific information on the Printer Dialog box, please refer to Appendix A: Common Dialog Boxes.

3. Click on the OK button.

The page prints.
