Removing Pages

You can cut or clear pages to remove them. You can make a remove any page that is not currently open in the Page Layout Editor. When you cut a page it is moved to the Clipboard. Once it is on the Clipboard you can paste it back onto the Project window to recover it. You can paste it as many times as you want. Clearing a page it removes the page permanently.

Cutting Pages

When you cut a selected page from the current Project window, a copy of the object is stored in the Clipboard. Optionally, you can paste the object back onto the Project window as many times as you want. Remember that a page remains on the Clipboard until you copy or cut another page.

To cut a page:

1. Make sure the page is not currently open in the Page Layout Editor.

2. Select the page to be cut.

3. Click on the Cut button or press Ctrl + X.

The selected page is removed and stored on the Clipboard. If necessary, click on the Paste button to paste the page onto the end of the page list in the Project window.

Deleting Pages

When you delete a selected page from the current Project window, the page is removed and is not placed on the Clipboard. To recover a page that you delete, use the Undo command.

To delete a page:

1. Select the page to be cleared.

2. Click on the Delete button in the toolbar, choose the Delete command from the Edit menu.

The Delete button appears as follows.

The selected page is deleted.
