Page Properties

Because pages are objects, you can change their properties. There are two places where you can view page properties: in the Project window and in the Page Layout Editor.

Note: The term "Page object" refers to both standard and background pages unless otherwise specified.

To display the Page object properties in the Project window:

1. Right-click on the thumbnail of the page whose properties you want to display.

2. Select Properties from the menu.

The Properties List for the selected Page appears.

You may manipulate these page properties as you would for any object. To learn how to set an object's properties, see Chapter 2: Working with Objects. For specific information on the Page object, see Chapter 6: Object Descriptions.

You can view and set the properties of a page in the Page Layout Editor just as you would any other object.

To display the Page object properties in the Page Layout Editor:

1. Right-click on the page background or on the Page Object name in the object list.

By default, the Page Object icon appears at the very top of the object list. For example, the Page object for the StartPage would look like this:

2. Select Properties from the popup menu.

The properties List for the selected Page appears.

You may manipulate these page properties as you would for any object. To learn how to set an object's properties, see Chapter 2: Working with Objects. For information on the Page object, see Chapter 6: Object Descriptions.
