Removing Objects

You can cut or clear objects to remove them. When you cut an object it is moved to the Clipboard. Once it is on the Clipboard you can paste it back onto a page. Clearing an object it removes it without placing it on the Clipboard.

Cutting Objects

When you cut a selected object from the current page, a copy of the object is stored in the Clipboard. Optionally, you can paste the object back onto the page, or another page, as many times as you want. Remember that an object remains on the Clipboard until you copy or cut another object.

To cut an object:

1. Select the object(s) to be cut.

2. Click on the Cut button or press Ctrl + X.

The selected object is removed and stored on the Clipboard. If necessary, click on the Paste button to paste the object.

Deleting Objects

When you delete a selected object from the current page the object is removed. When you delete an object, it is not stored on the Clipboard and no longer exists on the page. If you need to recover a deleted object, use the Undo command.

To delete an object:

1. Select the object(s) to be cleared.

2. Choose the Delete command from the Edit menu or press Del.
