A Tender Moment with the Fashion Diva

Hi everyone

I just wanted to make a few amends for last week. I made a statment that was to the effect of fat = ew. I just want to make it public that the comment that was made was taken the wrong way and I'd like to fix that. What I meant by my statement was that I just don't understand why people actually *wish* to make themselves look like they weigh 20 pounds more than they actually do. Being overweight isn't a problem, and nor does it look bad, but someone trying to look like they have *more* weight on them is stupid.

Those are my 2 cents about that.

Now, a bunch of people want to know what the Fashion Diva likes.

Well, there is a broad range of fashions that I like, myself. I'm sure you've all noticed, however, that I'm a big fan of tasteful individuality. I hold to the belief that anyone should be able to wear what they want, but they have to be able to accept criticism, which I've noticed that many of the people responding in the response charts can't seem to do.

I, myself, like the dark look, but then again, I don't mind tacky. As long as it's tacky for the sake of being tacky and not because someone actually thinks the fashion looks good (neon, for example). I'm a fan of the dark look, such as dark clothes, but I'm more of a classical person. Dresses on women are the paramount in fashion for me. On men, I'd like them to wear something that accentuates their features (without being so tight as to see what they're made of). I'm not a fan of 90's "trendy" fashions, especially since they seem to be horrible reincarnations of bad fashions. But, whatever people wanna wear is fine with me, although I'm against all those GAP ads with all the little kids looking exactly the same. Sigh.

Well, this is me signing off, I hope you've all enjoyed my tender talk with you all. Next week, though, be prepared for something off the wall.

Enjoy!
