Mac Users:
This disc may run faster with Microsoft Internet Explorer than Netscape
This is due to quirks in the way Netscape's browser (Mac) handles html files coming from a CD-ROM
You can download a free copy of Internet Explorer at:  http://www.microsoft.com/ie/download/

FAQ: Does that mean it won't work in Netscape?
. It works fine in Netscape -- just slower in loading. We suspect Netscape is aware of this and is probably working on it.
FAQ:  If I download Internet Explorer does that mean I can't use Netscape anymore?
. You can have both browsers resident on your machine-- and many people do.   Set your "default" browser to whichever one you generally prefer, and then, when you want to use the other one simply launch it and then select the disc.
FAQ:  Are there any advantages of  Netscape over Internet Explorer when it comes to using this disc?
Yes.  Internet Explorer has quirks of its own, they're just different ones.  For example, for the time being, when using Internet Explorer with a CD-ROM-based HTML application (such as this disc) you need to be careful to let everything load (or use the "stop" button) before moving on to something else. That can be a pain, but if you don't do it, on occasion you'll have trouble removing the disc from its holder without shutting down the computer.  Not catastrophic, but, as we say, a pain.

If you DO load up with Internet Explorer you'll find that we provide an "automatic" screen that pops up to explain all these issues.

And, too, since there are now more and more companies issuing these internet browser-like CD-ROMs, we suspect both Microsoft and Netscape are diligently working to iron out the kinks.  As things move along, we believe you'll find that our discs work better and better.
