README.TXT Mosaic In A Box 95 Installing Mosaic In A Box ========================== 1 Start Windows and insert Disk 1 or the CD-ROM into the appropriate drive. 2 Click the Start button, and then click Run. 3 In the Open box, type the path to the setup program (for example, a:\setup for a floppy diskette, or d:\setup for a CD-ROM) and click OK. 4 Follow the instructions on the screen. See the Setup Guide for information about how to configure Mosaic In A Box and set up an Internet account. Possible installation problems ============================== If you have problems running the setup program, restart Windows and try again. You will not be able to install Mosaic In A Box over a network. You will have to perform individual installations at each work station. Registration Problems ===================== If you are installing and registering during peak hours, you may see the message "Error #451: Mail Server is Busy." Click OK, and retry. It make take several times before you can register, depending on the volume of traffic. Windows NT If you are installing on Windows NT and select the LAN transport option, your software will not be registered, but it will function properly. Should you need to contact Technical Support at some time, you can register your software then. You will also not be able to create an Instant Internet Access account with InterServ if you are installing on Windows NT using the LAN transport. In order to create an Instant Access account, you will need to install and select the PPP transport option. Setup ===== If you are upgrading Mosaic In A Box or a Mosaic Direct product, you will be able to create an e-mail account. You will be asked to request an e-mail username during the setup procedure.
