No-Nonsense license statement and limited warranty.

This software is protected by international copyright treaty. Therefor, you
must treat this software just like a book, except that you may copy it onto
a computer to be used and you may make archive copies of the software for
the sole purpose of backing up our software and protecting your investment
from loss.

By saying "just like a book, Borland means, for example, that this software
may be used by any number of people, and may be freely moved from one
computer or location to another, so long as there is no possibility of it
being used by more than one person at a time. Just as a book can’t be read
by two different people in two different places at the same time, neither
can the software be available for use by two different people in two
different places at the same time without Borland’s permission (unless, of
course, Borland’s copyright has been violated).

Adding Users.

You may add users by paying for a separate software package for each user
you wish to add.

Transferring the software.
--------------------------
You may transfer all your rights to use the software to another person,
provided that you transfer to that person all of the software, diskettes,
and documentation provided in this package and transfer or destroy all
copies in any form. Remember, once you transfer the software you no longer
have any right to use it, and the person to whom it is transferred may only
use in accordance with the copyright law, international treaty, and this
statement.

The software is subject to U.S Commerce Department export restrictions, and
is intended for use in the country into which Borland sold it (or in the
EEC, in the case of software Borland first sold into the EEC). Except as
provided in this statement, you may not transfer, rent, lease, lend, copy,
modify, translate, sub-license, time-share, or electronically transmit of
receive the software, media or documentation.

Distribution of applications.

Programs and applications that have been constructed with the software may
not be distributed. The software is provided only with the aim of allowing
the owner to learn the use of this software. For distribution rights of
owner generated application, the owner will have to purchase a copy of
additional software or package designed for this purpose.

Limited warranty.
-----------------
Borland have licensed the software to Future Publishing for distribution,
under strict terms, with the publication PC-PLUS. As such, all physical
media are provided by Future Publishing and therefor Borland are not
responsible for the provision of replacement media, in the case of
defective materials.

BORLAND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRENTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, OR
CONDITIONS EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. ALL OTHER IMPLIED TERMS ARE EXCLUDED.

Specifically, Borland makes no representation or warranty that the software
or documentation are "error free", or meet any user’s particular,
requirements, or needs.

Borland is not responsible for, and does not make any representation,
warranty, or condition concerning product, media, software or documentation
not manufactured or supplied by Borland, such as third parties’ programs
which are designed using Borland software or which include Borland programs
or files.

General provisions.

This statement may only be modified in writing signed by you and an
authorised officer of Borland. If any provision of this statement is found
void or unforceable, the remainder will remain valid and enforceable
according to it’s terms. If any remedy provided is determined to have
failed it’s essential purpose, all limitations of liability and exclusions
of damages set forth in the limited warranty shall remain in effect.

This statement shall be construed, interpreted and governed by the laws of
the State of California, USA This statement gives you specific legal
rights; you may have others which vary from state to state and country to
country. (UK STATUTORY RIGHTS ARE NOT AFFECTED OR PREJUDICED AS TO THE
SOFTWARE AQUIRED OTHER THAN IN THE COURSE OF A BUSINESS.) Borland reserves
all rights not specifically granted in this statement.
