select the WINDOW ICON
You have dialogue box options on showing the window sizes on the plan (that is why there is a height input box) and also show with a cill. Just move the dotted cursor anywhere on an external wall, and press enter.
HINT
The function centre may be useful for positioning the window centrally in a room or wall

DOORS
select the DOORS ICON

DOORS - you have a choice of single hanging, sliding, wardrobe, folding and other multiple door types,

they can be drawn on external and internal walls , .

single hanging doors can be placed anywhere on a wall using the preselected door style

other doors are drawn from the wall line ( called the face of the wall ) nearest the cursor the guide line at the bottom of the screen will show how to use the door type selected

some door types can be drawn with the doors opening from the left, right or centrally ( called the hand of the door(s) ),

a separate dialogue box will appear with the options available .
