TEXT, CHANGE TEXT, RECTANGLES, COLOURS & LINESTYLES

RECTANGLE
Press enter on one corner of the new rectangle, then press the arrow key for one direction of the rectangle, and input the size in the dialogue box,. repeat the processfor the other direction

ROUNDED RECTANGLE
Draw as rectangle above, but input dialogue box for the corner radius comes up first

NOTE
Both rectangle functions only rotate in 90 degree increments.

TEXT-
To change the way text is inserted, just click the correct circle in the dialogue box. Centred text is normally used to place text in the middle of an area, while Text Right is for normal writing.

NOTE
When using Text Right, press enter to start a new line below the existing line, and press enter twice to finish

CHANGE TEXT
Select this function and click the left button when the cursor is in the centre of the text or dimension number to change, if it is positioned correctly the text will appear in an input box, just change to suit your need (maximum of 22 letters).

HINT
Should the input box not locate the text, try moving the cursor to the start of the text and clicking the left button.

CHANGE COLOUR
Pick your new colour from the dialogue box. This will affect all objects drawn from now on.

LINESTYLE
Change the line width or style (dotted, dashes etc.,) generally size 1(thin) is used

NOTE
Some tools will only draw in a solid line style if the line thickness is 2

TEXT SIZE
Font Style is the weight or boldness of the text, Point Size is the size of the text - generally between a range of 6 to 12 points are used for plan drawings

NOTE
Not all fonts are treated the same, some sizes are not universally available, and your printer may not support all text font types.

WARNING
Some font types expand if used vertically or while rotating, test before using - Helsinki is a good font type
