Changes:

Regular polygons were replaced with extruded regular polygons.

One essential category of surfaces, the soft diamond, was added to allow you to create new shapes that were not possible with version 1.0. 

Arbitrary surface scaling was added, giving you the ability to create shapes that were not possible with version 1.0.

More thorough documentation was provided.
