It has not been tested on PalmOS 2.x (PalmPilot Pers./Prof.). The main part of this program runs in grayscale mode (2-bit colors) this could cause problems so you may have to adjust the color settings. To do this go to the main screen and choose "Color Palette" in the "Prefs." menu. On startup the program will always return you to the place where you previously left it. (2) Introduction This is a turn based strategy game. The goal of the game is to conquer all fields (all continents) and to destroy all your opponents. (3) How to register / What will I get if I register ? Everything you need to know you will find in: register_en.txt Registrated users will be able to: - use more than the one map - have up to 3 opponents - save and load games All future versions of Conqueror will function with the same registration key. (4) Start playing After you installed the program (conqueror.prc) and the maps (demo_map.pdb, island_operation.pdb, small_world.pdb) you can start playing. To start a new game tap the "New Game" button in the main screen. First you have to select a map. Next you have to select your opponents (registered users can have up to 3 opponents). For each opponent choose one of the 2 possible types/levels; easy or hard to beat. The last step is to decide if you want to use the "continent bonus". This means: for every whole continent a player owns, he will get a bonus of 5 troops. After that, tap the "Ok" button to start. (5) How to play First every player places his troops. You will be notified how many troops you get when it's your turn to place your troops. To place your troops, tap one of your fields (fields with your color). To scroll the map, tap the map and drag the pen over the screen. The two numbers in the right corner of the control panel, indicate the scroll percentage (X: 0% => left side of the map, Y: 0% => top of the map). If you have placed all your troops, the next player will take his turn. When the small information screen disappears it's your turn to attack. To attack, choose the attacking field by tapping one of your fields with more than 1 troop then choose the field you want to attack. This can only be a neighbour of the attacking field. If you conquer the field you can move the troops you used for attackin to this field. After that you can start a new attack. When you are finished with all your attacks you can move your troops to any other field you own provided all owned fields involved in the move boarder on one another. To move your troops tap the "shield" (the most left button in the control panel) then choose the supplying field (a field with more than 1 troop) and the taking field. If you move troops you can not attack any more within this turn. To end your turn tap the "arrow". (5.1) The end of the game The game ends when you have conquered all your opponnets (when you own all fields) or when you have been conquered (when you don't own any fields). (6) Save/Load To save the running game tap the "Zzz" or select "Save Game" in the "Game" menu in the main screen. Then either enter the description in the field or select a previuos saved game (you can change the description). To save tap the "Save" button. To load a game tap the "Load Game" button in the main screen. Than select a game from the list and tap the "Load" button.
